Elevate Capital — Investor-Grade Brand Identity
Elevate Capital was pitching institutional investors with a presentation that looked like it was made in 2014. Their product was sophisticated. Their numbers were compelling. But the visual identity communicated 'small startup' — not 'high-growth investment opportunity.' We rebuilt their entire brand: logo, color system, typography, and full investor deck. The next pitch after the rebrand closed their first institutional round at a valuation 30% above comparable stage companies in their sector.
Tech Stack
The Numbers Were Right. The Brand Was Costing Them Credibility.
Institutional investors make decisions based on pattern recognition. A polished, confident brand sends a signal: this team is serious and organized. A dated, inconsistent visual identity sends the opposite signal — even if the underlying numbers are strong. Elevate's investors were discounting them before the pitch was halfway through.
Design is not decoration. It is a credibility signal with measurable financial impact.
What We Built
🔷 Signature Logo System
A precision-crafted mark designed to communicate stability, growth, and sophistication simultaneously. Multiple lockup variations for digital, print, presentations, and embossed materials. Every version works at every scale.
🎨 Premium Color Architecture
The palette was built using color psychology principles specific to the financial services space: deep authority tones paired with a sharp accent for CTAs and highlights. The combination reads as serious money — not aggressive tech startup.
📝 Typography Framework
A dual-serif/sans-serif pairing that communicates expertise (serif for authority) and modernity (sans-serif for accessibility). Extensive typographic hierarchy rules ensure every document looks consistently premium, regardless of who creates it.
📊 Investor Deck Template System
A fully built-out 24-slide presentation template with data visualization placeholders, executive summary formats, and financial table layouts. Every slide was designed to lead the eye to the most important number or claim first.
📖 Brand Guidelines Document
A 40-page visual bible that governs every future piece of Elevate collateral — so any designer, marketer, or printer can produce perfectly on-brand material without asking questions.
